CLEW predicts high-risk of respiratory failure and hemodynamic instability, two of the most common clinical challenges for high-acuity patients. Our models provide notifications for clinical staff up to eight hours before other bedside monitoring systems would alarm. When caregivers have advanced notice that a patient is at high-risk of one of these conditions, they can intervene well in advance of physiological signs of deterioration. This can significantly help patients and clinicians avoid emergency interventions, such as the use of a ventilator for acute respiratory distress. It also reduces the risks of complications, mortality and malpractice claims. Ultimately, this improves patient throughput, by providing an early indicator of potential bottlenecks caused by unexpected deterioration.

Unlike current bedside monitors, our convenient and secure intelligent notification solution, NotifyMe allows caregivers to receive custom multi-parameter notifications to more accurately target urgent complex clinical scenarios requiring immediate intervention. Clinicians are able to decide what physiological attributes are necessary to track, then use NotifyMe to catch those events in near real-time so they can intervene immediately. Parameters for notifications are fully customizable and include options to configure them for the system, unit or for an individual patient. Users can build their own rules on-the-fly or select them from a CLEW or health system-created list.

CLEW offers a real-time, priority-driven patient worklist created for rounding caregivers and their leadership. This allows clinical leaders to make resource and rounding choices based on patient acuity and high-risk status in mind. It provides care teams with the ability to assess patient acuity, risk profiles and any critical scenarios for a specific care area, unit or throughout the facility or system. Charge nurses can use the tool to make staffing assignments and assess capacity.
